1) - is it allot harder to rank these kinds of websites?


2) - are their any issues when it comes to making money from them? (i cant seem to find anything in their TOS's)

    Many don't allow monetization or they kind of tolerate it so you're never sure how long it lasts.

    Tumblr pages and such should be able to withstand more spammy type of links opposed to a brand new domain.

    I don't like to have my content on external sites though and if I would I would (ab)use a press release platform for that.

    Have to add that the golden times of PRweb are over, just saw some press release losing all it's rankings. Well not all, but 3 out of 6 out of the top 500 seriously wonder why the other one is still ranking at #5 only difference in the kw is:
