Hey people,
I have a redirect website i have had for a while. Never expected it too rank anywhere in the search engines. But as look where this months traffic is coming from, i see 100 uniques have come from search engines. I didn't think redirects would rank that well in the search engines.

If anybody can shed any sight in this matter i would really appreciate it.
Thanks people

    Thats cool.

You just created a new web site but want to pass on the
search engine rankings of the old one to the new one. What
is the most effective and spider/visitor friendly strategy
to implement your web site redirection.. You should use a
    301 redirect.

Its 301 redirecting - It is used when you want to redirect your web site or web pages. The code "301" is interpreted as "moved permanently".
After the code, the URL of the missing or renamed page is
noted, followed by a space, then followed by the new location
    or file name.

Whn you are doing a TLD redirect, Google will index the page you are redirecting to as yours. I have several redirect domains that get indexed with the page I redirect visitors to. It is odd indeed!
