Hi All,

I have a customer that has a business with (4) different locations in four different cities but only one web site. There are pages on the site for each business.

The question is: Can I get a Google Places listing for each separate business by using that page URL?

Example:
mybusiness.com/city-1.html
mybusiness.com/city-2.html
mybusiness.com/city-3.html
mybusiness.com/city-4.html

My customer wants only one web site and I can't find any restrictions or permissions for doing multiple businesses on one domain.

Thanks for the help,

Tom

You can absolutely do this. Just to be sure I understood your example though, let me make sure we are on the same page: you will have a separate page on your site for each city and you will us those to register with Google Places in multiple cities yes? This is totally acceptable and I do it often for my own clients.

Make sure yo differenciate each listing by putting the city name or some other gegraphical reference in the Google places title:

    -Johnny's Pizza (Chicago)
    or
    -Johnny's Pizza - Boston

If you have a physical location in each of these areas then yes e.g. You have an office/shop front. If it's online only then no.

Just make sure you hide the address and mark the listing as serving business locations in City A, B, C etc.

That's exactly what I will be doing. To make it even better, each business has a different name.

    -Los Angeles Pizza
    -Long Beach Pizza
    -Santa Ana Pizza
    -San Diego Pizza

Thanks for the help, I'll get started!

    Hi pepes4329,

    All business are different names:

    -Los Angeles Pizza
    -Long Beach Pizza
    -Santa Ana Pizza
    -San Diego Pizza

Addresses are all different. Cities are all different. Phone numbers are all different.

You said names have to be the same! There not!

Is this a problem for me?
