If you are not providing value then it is very hard to rank. Weight Loss is a very competitive niche, but if you get some traffic for it then it will be very profitable. This is why so many people want to get into it, because of the reward.

However, you need something to let you stand out from the hoard of websites that try to rank in weight loss niche. Some people found their way entering with some low-competition keywords and then move up to cover the whole topic.

You must be aware first that there are thousands of wembasters that built weight loss sites only to randomly rank in google and sell crappy products. They either use autoblog software that will post content from other websites ( duplicate ), or are using software to generate content automatically. If you really want to do this, think about why will google rank your website in front of the other few thousands that do the same thing.

If you just change a word here and there, using sinonims then Google will still see the content as duplicate and won't rank you. If you only publish an article with clickbank links a week why don't you take 1 hour to write it well.

How about your other content ? It is scrapped or it is original ?

Before I was able to read your entire post, the first thing that got my attention was "90% unique". I am really puzzled about why you only make them 90% unique when you can do 100%. And why are you spinning when you can write unique 500-word articles in less than half an hour? If you want to rank, you need to make sure that your content is actually relevant. That is what Google is looking for.

Basically, I found spinning to be really helpful before. However, I realized that article spinning is eating up more time than what I am spending on writing an article using my own words and thoughts. I really think that you should concentrate on making blog content that is close to original and is sensible (for Google, at least).

I am not sure about your editing quality, so I can't really answer if your site will rank or not. If you're making your article unique then they may rank. I'd never recommend autoblog for ranking purposes though

You can rank if doing a lot of happy users and always check your competitors. But, I suggest that doing social syndication, build your list of audiences and find buyer traffic. Too much SEO will consume time. You need to find how to get commissions than just how to get rank.

If your content is not unique, you can’t rank.

If that's true, then wikipedia, ebay, amazon, google, yahoo, bing, Newyorktimes,
CBS, ABC, LAtimes, ....are just not ranking.

Unique has nothing to do with ranking.

      All the best. Regards.

Perhaps that's just what is meant by content that is Unique.

WHAT?!?!?!? All of those sites have content that is NOT unique!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          And they don't rank, right?

I guess not. Pity the fools at amazon. Who knew they were not ranking?

At least, give your site a good title before thinking about ranking.

As an alternative to autoblogging, could I suggest "Curation." It does take about an hour a day but it can help you build an authority site rather than one you are fighting to get ranked. The best way to do this is to find quality content online (set up Google Alerts and other systems to feed you news on a topic).

Find one or more good articles to curate each day, and then add your own commentary to it. If you include two or more found articles, your commentary could weave the two viewpoints together. The result is a solid, unique and quality piece by you that merely references and quotes from other sources with links to those sources.

The outbound links may or may not hurt your rankings, but if you implement a social media strategy, your blog will get readers who will link to your quality articles derived from other quality sources. Google tracks those readers and the links they set up and will eventually reward you.

But the main thing is to build your readership via social media.

    Hi,

I would also recommend Curation if you are not going to post your own content. This is better than spinning articles.

I would not really recommend that you spin articles. Generally it is not really good to spin content for your site. I would normally just spin articles for my backlinking but not for my site. This is because and like what others here already said, uniqueness is what Google wants these days.

Curation probably is the easiest way to post content. I would also suggest you look at guest posts. This is also a good idea for your site.

I wonder why you still ask this, knowing the fact that its an autoblog. Besides... you already decided to do things the easy way push through it and find out if it will rank.

If it does lucky for you if not try another crazy approach until such time in your career you'll learn that things done the hard way pays hard as well.
