Did Yahoo Answers Created Problem ?

Hi All...

i have an another site and the site is product comparison site and i have done almost 365 Yahoo Answers. Most of them are chosen as best answers (72%). I am on the 2nd position in Motorcycle section and on 5th in the Buying & Selling section means i have a very good reputation as well.

I answers question and put my website's relevant URL in the source section. I used many times same urls for approx same kind of questions. So my question is, this could be a trouble for me ?

I lost my ranking & organic traffic on those keywords that i put website url for my site. I know Penguin 2.1 launched on 4th Oct but i lost the same from 15th Oct onwards.

What say ? Does it happen due to Yahoo Answers ?

Please warriors, guide me. What to do next ?

Regards..
Alena.

Yahoo Answers didn't create the problem, you did. Maybe you should mix it up, and don't have all those links pointing to one site

It could. If you contact Google through the webdev stuff they may tell you which blackmarks you have and why.

You may want to diversify both your traffic sources and the way you insert your link

    You have 6 main choices:

    Update
    Update
    Update
    http://yourlink.com/
    Update
    Update

    Does it help?

P.S. Get traffic from blog comments, forum postings, articles, etc... the link diversification helps a bit. Traffic diversification is more important.
