I don't want to do something Which I am not sooo good. Work in a field which you excel in, that would be more fruitful..

    Hmmm...

But if you intend to work as IM, don you think it's better to work as SEO? At least from there you can really learn a few things here and there through them?

Your question is a little unclear. It sounds like you're asking if those of us who are good at SEO will ever work for someone else or always be "freelancers." For anyone able to make money doing anything on their own, why would they work for someone else? That would take up too much valuable time.

yup, that's what i am talking about..Sorry abt my lousy english...

However how does one consider good at SEO? Is it by ranking your site at the top sites with at least 50 keywords? How do you consider yourself good?

It's all relative I find Spark.

If you want to get a certain site ranked under a keyword which you know will make you money, and then you pull that off, then you're successful in terms of acquiring your goals with SEO.

There's no definitive line that defines whether someone is good at SEO or not. The more you learn, the more it becomes like a game which you're constantly striving to get better at, and the more you increase your goals and make educated judgements as to what terms you believe you have a chance of ranking under.

I think someone who has some degree of SEO knowledge should be able to have the foresight to know, after a bit of preliminary research, whether they'd be able to rank under a certain keyword or whether it's out of their league (either monetary wise or skillwise, because finance and link buying certainly plays an important role as you get more experienced).

    Hey Steven,

thanks for your sharing! Hmmm but i thought as you learn and grow along the way..doesn't we look at getting things done with lesser cash? Since the software you are looking at, should be powerful enough to bring you cash?

For me, i feel that to a good SEO. Should really make use those free SEO method and mix here and there to get where you want. Instead of buying links..

Perhaps different mind think differently...Anyway thanks for your input.
