Any advice on Yandex?

Hi guys, i was wondering if anyone here has experience with Yandex? i know the general info but i'm interested if anyone has any good tips for ranking (the site im interested in is in Russian only).

My other site/ hobby blog is 1st in some google rankings and not even on the radar on Yandex.
I don't want to miss anything

      Make sure you use yandex metriks on analyzing...
      It would be good to have server as close to russia as possible. Try russia itself.
      Socialize in vk.com + OK.ru + mail.ru moi mir.
      Besides yandex use rambler.ru and set up a top 100 account there.

      Put mail.ru, rambler top 100 and mail ru traffic widgets to your website. And have a clear structure. Make one cheap yandex direkt campaign.

      Thats right. Use only .ru domains. And since russians love to play bulls with west i repeat host your bags in russian hotels or near.

        site is on .ru and hosted in russia

        two questions: by yandex metrics, d'you mean the ones in yandex webmaster?

        why is it important to have mail ru traffic widgets? i see them on a lot a lot of russians sites and most of the time the traffic info is hidden anyway, so why actually have them?
