Can business citation help a website to get a higher rank? How many local citations would be sufficient for site..is there any specific number? Finally.. is business citation and local business listing same thing?


I really don't know much about it so answers from you guys would be a great help for me...

    Maybe your site would rank higher for local searches, so long as you include area and contact information and link all your Google sites together so they say the same thing.

    Yes if you are a local business, citations definitely help (Google supports them too).

    Personally I've used some expensive citation building services for clients and I can't really say it's had any positive effect.

    Classic SEO seems to rank local the best still, by far.
