Duplicate Content Question

Hi

I have a website which promotes affiliate products. Would it be considered duplicate content if I use the same product title in my posts as the post title e.g. product called Grim Reaper Pro SX on merchant/creators website > can I create a post title with the same name, nothing more, nothing less?

I am currently creating my own unique content in the short descriptions and body of teh post, but I really do want to use the product name and nothing more in the title.

Is that OK?

IMO It will be a good idea if you can change the title even a little bit (like say by adding you site or category name at the end), and also otherwise should not be a big concern if you use the same exact wording as the same title is not appearing in your site.

Make the post title and header work for you. Make them catchy and ask a question that you answer in the body of the content.

Your aim to get them to click on your affiliate link. Good titling can really help you.

Titles that have keywords and also attract readers is the best way to go.

That's a bad title, anyway. You need to describe what the product does in the title, as well. Keywords 101.

It's not very difficult to recognize a duplicate content, if you only do little title change,
I prefer taking an idea from the original article and then re-writting it, so it becomes a totally different as compared to the original.

Maybe I am explaining it wrong.

Think about a store, only none of the products are mine. They are all affiliate products, people come to that store purely to look for these products. Why would I change the name of the products just because I am afraid of duplicate content issues? Is there a good reason I would confuse people for?
