Google traffic estimator says I'll only get 0.16 clicks a day?

On a small micro niche ecommerce site that I made there is about 10 keywords that I am going after.

Being a micro niche website and only targeting my own country the search volumes are low (but so is the competition), the total local search volumes for the 10 keywords combined comes to about 1200 a month for Exact Match.

However the keyword planner traffic estimator says that I will only hope to achieve 0.16 - 0.19 clicks per day and it will cost me 1.24/day.. what the hell?

How can 1200 searches per month only give me 4-5 clicks a month??

Really need clarification here, thanks.

      What I was using was the one in the keyword planner where you choose Get Traffic Estimates.

    Start a small capaign if you are advertising on this phrases and just test it yourself. You may either be suprised or dissapointed, but it's sure worth the try if you already set up the website etc.
