Hi everyone,

Suppose i have software website, what are the keywords shall i rank for?
Then if i rank well in the keywords of home page, that mean that i will rank well with my topics with same particular keywords.

    Sorry, really not following you here. We wouldn't know what keywords you are looking for since we don't know your niche. Software is extremely broad, and keyword research would be something you would have to do.

    I would suggest throwing in some of the things related to your niche into Google Keyword Planner, and take it from there.

    I c website like "softpedia" in his title like "Softpedia - Free Downloads Encyclopedia"
    he want to rank the keyword "Free Downloads" for his home page, but he is not in the first result on google in that keyword, so why he use "Free Downloads" in his title home page.

      It's a root keyword, doesn't necessarily mean the site needs to rank for that [exact] keyword. Focusing on the root keyword shows Google what the site is about. I'm sure that site picks up thousands of longtail search phrases as a result.
