Plugin/No Plugin Adsense Placement

Sup - I'm messing around with one of my blogs. I haven't used adsense in a while, and so I was wondering do you guys place your ads manually or do you use a plugin? And if you use a plugin, doesn't it place an ad on every page? I don't think I would want to have an ad on my privacy policy page and what not. Unless there's a setting to disable ads on certain pages.

Thanks.

Hey GGpaul - I run numerous wordpress sites and was frustrated with the lack of options I saw. I ended up creating a wordpress plugin for AdSense that will allow you to inject into the type of pages you want. Its main purpose is for split testing the position and configuration of your AdSense ads, but at its core it should be able to do what you want.

It's launching in a few days, called AmpedSense.

You're setting yourself up to have your Adsense clicks/earnings skimmed.

Basic php code can easily be used to swap out the Adsense publisher ID#s so you'll never know your being skimmed by the plugin. All you'll see is a slight drop in earnings.

I don't trust anyone with my money.

    Good luck.

For sure, so it's bettter off to place the code manually for each post.

Yes, it's better to add the affiliate code yourself.

You can also create shortcodes with Wordpress, it's a way to help automate repetitive code/content & it's already built into Wordpress.

I found these tutorials (below) with a Google search, might help?
