How do I implement bookmarking sites into my SEO strategy

Hey how's it going. I have a niche site that I started sometime ago, slowly increasing traffic from Google. I release 2-3 articles a day, but nothing else really for SEO. How do bookmarking sites work? I'm just so cautious because I hear if Google blacklists you then you're done. So I've been doing it the old fashioned way - lots and lots of quality content. How can I safely implement bookmarking sites? I hear of people spamming thousands of bookmarking sites - something I'm definitely not interested in. Can someone give me some advice on how to use Bookmarking sites to increase traffic, and whether it's worth it. Also, any other techniques to improve my climb up Google's ladder.

If I understand it correctly, you are just posting quality content to your website right? Have you done any off page SEO?

In my opinion, bookmarking is not bad as long as you only bookmahrk to sites with a PR4 and higher.

You won't get enough traffic if you are only doing on-page. You have to have your off page SEO campaign to get your site ranked faster.

Aside from bookmarking, you may also look into social media campaigns and guest posting.

Remember: always focus and build links on high PR sites only.

    Good luck!

Thanks! What other off page SEO stuff would you recommend I do to rank quicker on Google?

Also, can I submit the SAME important article to multiple high PR bookmarking sites, or do I have to submit a different article to each bookmarking site. I want to play it safe here, because the amount of work I put into launching the site is certainly not worth risking cutting a few corners to get traffic.

        • Check out SocialADR. It's scalable, you can drip the bookmarks and its cheap. I've used to support my Amazon review sites.

Social bookmarks are virtually useless in SEO right now. Go to this guy (not affiliated), buy 30 high quality SBs for $3, and forget about them and focus on high PR links.
