Hi guys,

Stuck between 2 domains that I`ve researched and would like to buy, Both are PR 4 with good backlinks but one has slightly better backlink profile and the other is a Moz AD 49 where as the one with a better backlink profile is Moz AD 42.

I do own a small blog network and its working out pretty good for me its obviously how SEO is done but I`m still alittle green and Moz AD is something new to me I never checked it when buying the other domains so I really dont know exactly for important or not it really is

Thanks

    From my anterior bad experience:

After i got a paid link with Pr2 and DA82 for my NEW website i got the warning email on Google Webmaster. The email was about my try to manipulate the Pr of the site.

Before that i was getting backlinks on pages with actual PR3-5 and had no problem at all.

From this i learned that DA its counted fair somehow....rather than the old Google PR.

So, my advice - get the higher DA domain.

Don't get paid links from sites that aren't yours

It's a pretty good indicator, but value the quality/PR/age of the incoming backlinks the most. You want to be relatively sure that the high PR links to your expired domain will not be removed once you re-purpose it

The only thing I use DA for is to weed out the obviously bad/fake PR domains.

Other than that, I find it absolutely worthless.

I personally find MozTrust (for the root domain) to be a more useful indicator of quality links - what are the two domains saying for that metric?
