Page rank - parked doman

Hi,

I need some info if anyone can share:

1) if a domain is parked then can building backlinks as effective as domain with content site?

2) I have seen parked domain with good page rank like 4 or 5. Do you think that after adding content to domain(website), page rank can drop?

    #1 - No. Especially now, Google wants content on regular domains.


    #2 - As long as it doesn't get deindexed the PR should not drop. But it's extremely rare to see parked domains with PR, anyone who owns a PR domain is likely selling it or using it for backlinks.
