I interested to know about "Adsense arbitrage" - using adwords and/or other PPC networks to drive traffic to website that is monetized by Adsense. Has anyone done it? Is it against Adsense terms or not?

On other forums I saw other experience related to adsense abbitrageand seems that Google loosened the noose on Arbitrage with Adwords/Adsense. It's definitly not a definite answer, but just be aware that other are doing it without being banned, no matter if they're big players or smaller ones.hope this helps.

You won't get banned, but if they notice they will stop the adwords campaign for that particular site. There is no auto-detection by them, so it may or may not be discovered and doesn't force a review of all your other adwords campaigns.

    Adsense arbitrage
I'm 99.99% sure you'll lose more money than you'll make with this scheme.

Way too many variables going on at the same time, Adwords/Adsense CPC, both are all over the place, neither one will ever be fixed price.

Any PPC + Adsense will drain your wallet faster than you can say WTH?

I realise that if you bid on keywords related to your niche you will pay close to what you will earn if visitors click on the ads on your site and average CTR is around 3%. So the result is you will most likely end up losing money. But what about other PPC networks that cost much less per click?

I don't set out intentionally with this model, but using FB ads promoting posts driving traffic to a website has routinely earned me more in Adsense than what I spent on FB ads. The key is high FB ad CTR bidding on a CPM for very low cost per click for FB ads.

I usually promote affiliate products as well on the landing page, but often Adsense performs just as well if not better.

It's hit and miss, but it can work. I wouldn't create your entire business model around it, but if you have high converting ads resulting in low CPC from Facebook in a decently paying Adsense niche, it can be profitable.
