Would Publishing 30 Articles to a New Site Have any Negative Impact on SEO?

I was reading a report written by businessbolts.com regarding content creation. It was an excellent report. But, in the report Lisa suggest that when creating content for your site you can either

1) Publish all content to the site at once
2) Drip feed the content over time

If I was to do option 1, and publish 30 pieces of content to a new domain, would this have any negative impact on ranking?

No I really don't think it would have any negative impact at all - what would the logic be behind penalising such an act?

I'm not saying it is the right way, I'm just saying it won't get penalised.

The problem with doing so, of course, is that there is no way you'd want to link to all 30 pages from your homepage which means some pages will be somewhat buried within category pages (or on page 2, 3, 4, etc if that is how your structure works). This may hinder the speed at which they get indexed.

I might add say 10 articles to begin with and then add the rest gradually.

A valid point. Thanks for the response Steve.

It's different from person, to person how they like it.

The first day i start up a new site, i normally post 4-10 posts. After that i post like 3-5 at week. That way i got new and fresh content on the site, all the time.

      Ask yourself this:

Do I want profits now or later?
Do I want to be found by google now or later?
Do I want a full, comprehensive website now or later?
Do I want my website to look like it belongs on the net now or later?
Do I want a fully functional website now or later?

If corporate websites were built on the lousy idea of waiting, well,
      no wonder we have healthcare.gov...

The worst thing you can do is make your website look like it's
      under construction.

This in no way means you cannot make a full website with just one page.

No, i can't see it having any bad affect as long as your not submitting un-unique articles which were not created by you, if there unique it will probably have a very good affect on your ranking.

Well, if I were the visitor arriving on your blog, I would surely be overwhelmed by the massive posts that I need to read.

Best is that you pinned some very good blog posts on top of your website and leave the other blog posts below and on the side bars where people can scroll and access it easily.

That makes no sense in any context on earth. I have a blog with at least 1,000
posts. NOBODY is going to get there and say, "Gee...1000 posts to read? I better
      leave..."

Nobody "needs" to read even one post let alone 20.

How about this. Oh. This lame-@$$ only has one post? What a clown.
I came here under false pretenses and will never come back to this
      hurting blog.
