Scrapebox and dead proxies

Hey everyone,

Is anyone else having their proxies dropped when using scrapebox? I never used to have this problem until recently. It doesn't return results from google, and eventually (usually within a couple of days) they die. I've had to request a new list of proxies from my proxy provider twice already. It's very frustrating.

Regards

As above said, something is wrong with your proxies.

If you're using those proxies to scrape urls, then i would suggest you to use public proxies. Private ones banned from Google in no time.

    Public: Harvest/scraping
    Private: Posting

Yeah, this is the conclusion I've come to. I also find that scraping for proxies also takes a very long time, and the results are bad - in my most recent case, in 3 hours I managed to scrape 9 good proxies, but all were slow and only worked once before they were banned. What about using public proxies found on google?

Make sure your proxy provider is cool with you using them for ScrapeBox. Most legit providers have a list of known services they prohibit use with, so similar in the vein of what TheProgrammer said, but something else to keep in mind.

Public, harvested proxy ALWAYS die after a short time. Some proxies are only up for hours. This is why you need to harvest/check them constantly, eg. daily. Otherwise there would be a no need for public proxy lists or you would only harvest them once and be done. I wish....

Quality google passed proxies should not die very fast. Maybe its time to look at an alternate proxy vendor.

I never had an issue with my proxies while using SB, better contact your proxies provider or get an alternative.

There is nothing wrong with his proxies. They're just burning out, which is totally normal if you're doing a lot of harvesting or PR checks.

Spend an extra $5 a month and get a VPN that lets you change IP's on the fly. I use this for harvesting and PR checks. Once the IP burns out I just reconnect to a different server. I use private proxies for everything else.

Thanks, would you mind expanding a little on that? Where do you find a VPN for an extra $5?
