sitemap is too big for google indexing, someone help please!

Hey guys, I have a website to index and we have about 130,000 pages. According to google the limit per sitemap is 50,000.

We using Magento platform.

Does anyone know how to split the sitemap into multiple sitemaps?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Break the one sitemap down into 3 separate xml files. Submit all 3 xml files to GWT.

    Depending on how many categories you have for the site, it might be a better idea to break the entire list down into one xml file per category, that way all the relevant pages/URLs are grouped together.

    Hi,
    It will be better if you submit more than one sitemap. There is no problem if you submit more than one sitemap. You can divided it category wise.
    Do not use more than 1000 URL in one sitemap.
