Adsense Drop In CTR during holiday seasons?

Anyone else experience drops in ctr for adsense ads during seasonal holidays? Is this normal? Traffic remains steady however decrease in ctr by half.

My assumptions advertisers are backing off till holidays are over? Thus the ads are mostly irrelevant causing the change in ctr?

Anyone out there been through this and can give their insight? Any insights from experience would be appreciated.

    Adsense CRT drops, when it is not showing the relevant ads to the visitors. You should optimize your adsense ads regarding placement, colors and fonts to get a better CTR.
