How many different pages/articles per keyword?

Hi there,

I have a basic SEO question. Is there any merit on doing repeated articles on 1 keyword?

Say for example I pick a keyword "lose weight fast".

Would I get any more credit by putting 10 different pages with that keyword in or should I just do 1 page on that keyword and then do another page on a variation of that keyword.

Hope that makes sense.

    Do you mean making multiple pages on your site based on one and the same keyword? If so, then I can't see the possible purpose of doing so. Optimizing that much content for one and the same term will basically mean that you are going to inevitably repeat yourself over and over again. Instead, I would suggest getting down to serious linkbuilding based on the particular keyword, as well as writing fresh content targeted at slightly/considerably different keywords. This would allow you to avoid putting all your eggs in one basket, so to speak.
