Has anyone actually used Twitters advertising system and profited, if you have please tell me how your conversion, CPC, and through rate/conversion was.

    You do get targeted traffic, but I would not think that leads to conversion. I did not use it for a long time though, just the free coupon.

    Based on what I see on my store, organic search leads to better conversion. PPC, ads may work for some business, but for my niche, I feel organic search is best.

      That makes no sense. What does the profit of the company have to do with
      anything? Twitter is the biggest, baddest social media guy on the planet now.
      I've been touting twitter for years. I can't say I would pay to advertise yet,
      but for a logical reason. I get a lot of juice out of my tweets. Much more so
      than FB.

      But that profit thing is just inane. Amazon took years to make a profit.
      Ditto for FB. Has nothing to with anything. Bing hasn't made a dime for
      MS. Ever. In fact, MS has never made a dime online. Means nothing.

      Now cheap VPS? That's something that is definitely NOT worth it.

    I did it few times, but it was good for traffic generation, but no conversion, and you know conversion is needed not a silly traffic.
