Website Give Away Query

Hi All,

I am about to launch a website to promote my SEO and PPC services. I have previously heard people suggest that it's good practise to give a report or similar away as a means to getting visitor contact details.

I have a few questions on this?

1) I plan on using Dreamweaver - How easy is this to set up so the e-book is automatically emailed when visitors submit a email address?

2) What shall I give away?

3) Will it cheapen the look of a professional website?

    1) It's easy if you use autoresponder like Aweber or GetResponse.

    2) There are many places where you can find (buy or get free) PLR e-books and article packs that you can give away. (Search this forum for PLR = private label rights.)

    3) I don't think so.

        The auto responders you mentioned are quite expensive - $20 or so a month.

        Does anyone know of a cheaper option, preferably free!!!
