There's no fixed number really but you should be looking for a domain with trust flow and citation flow of around 25-30, DA/PA of around 50, PR 5.

He said a budget of $400 not a thousand. Good luck getting a strong Pr5 for that price range.

Actually i've found PR5 domain with 26 trust flow, 42 DA 47 PA for $600.The toolbar PR shows PR5 but at worse its a strong PR 4. No harm in looking for something better.

There is no fixed value. Let me give you a table I made to help me correlate between various metrics.

    PR 1 = DA 13 = CF 9
    PR 2 = DA 19 = CF 12
    PR 3 = DA 25 = CF 16
    PR 4 = DA 32 = CF 23
    PR 5 = DA 40 = CF 30

The way to read the above data is as following - A domain with Page Rank 3 should have a Moz Domain Authority of 25 and a Majestic Seo Citation Flow of 16.

The Majestic Seo Trust Flow does not have any co-related value for PR since it measure the trustworthiness of the links. The higher the Trust Flow definitely the better.

      My domain is a
PR3 (its probably higher as I had a ton of editorial links in November, PR update is pre October of what I hear)
      DA-34 PA-44
      Citation Flow of 34
      Trust Flow of 28
Whats that worth in rough estimates?

I am a great fan of Trustflow but not citation. Going off of everything you said I would say from $80-$150 but the big problem is that you really can't price domains by metrics. They can give you some ball park numbers but its the link profile that will determine how much the domain really sells for in an auction.

I've seen Pr3s sell for more than PR4s by hundreds of dollars based on link profiles.

I think the link profile will deteriorate over time so unless you build up enough to make that PR, then it will disappear over time. I had a PR3 I didn't do anything with for a while, it is P0 now. Serves me right for forgetting about it.

I don't really know what the hell i am dong. I am wasting my money buying these domains if i don't flip them quickly, which I have not done so far.
