Is my site allowed for AdSense?

I have a site that is bordering on a taboo topic of racial talks. It is not particularly offensive but the subject matter might be taboo. I want to put adsense to it but I am afraid they might close my account down. Is there a way to verify if I can indeed put adsense on my site before hand?

I'm not putting it here.

Google is very strict today and I doubt about the content of your site.. It may cause trouble to your account.

The first 10 sites in google don't have Adsense ads if that is anything to go by.

Why not ask the company itself or read through the TOS again, see if there is anything against race related topics.

Ok I did a little search for you and found these references (type of content not allowed)-

Hate speech (including content that incites hatred or promotes violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, or sexual orientation/gender identity), harassment, bullying, or similar content that advocates harm against an individual or group.

Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others
You mentioned that it is not particularly offensive. But something not offensive to you could offend others. A racial slur not directed towards you might sound like a joke to you, while others might beg to differ.

You are walking into a grey area. I wouldn't risk my adsense account on such a site. But that is just me though.

I don't think anyone on this forum would be able to give you a definitive answer, especially without viewing your website. Your best bet would be to contact google directly and get something in writing. The TOS can be somewhat vague.

    Hi,

I would refrain. Google so picky these days.....although if you try it you will get a YES or NO as noted above.

Expect the NO though because Google is very PC and honestly, I cannot blame them to keep things high energy on the web.

    Good luck!

I have a forum that is quite popular and I stuck adsense on it.

It worked for a few days and then I got an email from Google stating that it doesn't meet their TOS. They did not ban my account. In fact, they still payed out the money accrued up to that point, but that domain was disabled from advertising (which still hurts!).

My forum actually didn't violate the TOS specifically....a very grey area but google are the final arbiters. They said I could appeal but when I crafted a long response, I got an immediate automated response saying the decision was final. *sigh*.

Anyway, I think you can put adsense on and they will remove it if it violates the TOS. They won't ban your entire account if you're not trying to violate the conditions through things like click fraud etc.

will this affect my other none taboo sites running on adsense?

I have multiple sites and the other sites have adsense. My question will one ban (if it happens) jeopardize the other sites? Bc I really would not do it if my WHOLE account gets banned.

    Please help!
