SEO services from elance and fiver, etc...

Anyone have opinions on seo services you can find on sites like fiver and elance?

Whether for seo page work or backlinks, etc..?

Some of them I think can be shady but some that have all five star reviews I feel could be legit. Could this be what seo can come to for some sites - getting the best seo services for backlinks and optimization, etc.?

On fiver there are a lot of seo deals for pretty cheap and some of the seo people seem legit. I try to message anyones service I consider before hand to make sure it's all google friendly, etc.

    Most of fiverr is 3rd world countries that don't care what happens to your site.

    Hear that. Some here have mentioned using fiver tho. Some of the services are simple such as build social signals, one person was doing around 10-20 high ranking domain links and it cost a lot more to do stuff like do the links over time so it looks better to google.

    Some of them seem like they could have potential.


    Some of the people have hundreds of clients tho so if they have technique and can do it fairly fast it can make a lot of money if people are reporting success with them.

      I wouldn't use Fiverr for SEO. such as backlinking directly to your money sites, although you could build 2nd or 3rd tier links (so its protected) - even then its a risk, the fact is you can't trust where these guys are getting their links from and if its going to damage your SERPs. Also a lot of the SEO methods aren't working that great in Google any more.

      I use it for setting up social accounts, light social bookmarking or getting some likes/follows going on social accounts. eLance is great for content writers, virtual assistants, setting up or managing websites and social media accounts.

    Chances are, you have invested a lot of money (not to mention time) into your site already. And, your investment is potentially worth a lot of money if you can get search engine or Adwords traffic. So why risk your site getting a penalty from Google by using an SEO amateur? You don't really know what kind of qualifications those people have, despite what they are saying.

    I use Fiverr backlinks for my third tier, wouldnt have the guts to use them for anything else.
