Can someone help with a question?

Hi there, I need help...All my site were affected by Penguin 2.1 . I built links but most were good according to Majestic Trust and Citation metrics. The one I'm most concerned with has a MOZ DA of 46 and a PA of 53 pretty good right? Well, the site was ranking well and now those kw's are around 100. Medium competition local kw. All 4 sites SERPS were affected the same way.

There is no manual penalty
My anchor text is diverse
Many links were contextual and were PR 1+ with ok to great w/Trust and Citation Flow

There were some sitewide links (I know they are bad)

Any insight? I will give out url if it will help.

    As you say, your all backlinks are from high authority sites with good DA and PA, then also your keywords ranking is drop, then it is a case of over-optimization or you also check is any content duplicate issues in your website.

    There can be several reasons for that. Even if you are have built high quality links, then also penalty can be for any reason. It can either be due to your site's content, Over optimization, over usage of exact match anchor-text. Nobody can tell you the exact reason why it happened without having a close look at your URL. If you think its due to content, try to change it or if its due to the backlinks, then try to remove them, disavow the rest and move on building fresh high quality backlinks with good anchor diversification.     Do not try too many keywords and changing keywords every day. Plan properly and be specific to specific audience and have optimize naturally. Not too much optimization. No over repeation of sentences / phrases in content and meta tags.

    You probably have a lot of crappy links as well and the OBL of the said PR1+ is definitely high.

    And come to think of it, the PR1+ links are they domain or page PR and which one had your link?

    That's a food for thought.
