Do only 1 tier worked?

OK! As the title stated. I know it has no exact rules that it works or not.
Yet, I wanna hear from people who are using this system.

I mean to build only tier 1 links to the money site without any additional 2nd tiers pointing to 1st tier.

For example, create fresh new web 2.0s, social profiles, doc sharing, bookmarking, videos ..... etc.

What is your experience?

    From the looks of it, those are the usual sites from seo softwares like SEnuke and Magic Submitter. They should still work alone, however, you'll find it hard to rank competitive keywords.

    The idea behind multi-tiered link building is to boost your tier 1 links. Without those, your tier 1s are weak.

    Essentially what you are doing with "Tier 1" is setting up a private network with a variety of sites that are free to post to. As with any new site or page that doesn't already have pre-existing PR or links, you must create them yourself, as well as create good enough content that may rank themselves and attract visitors that will build links to it.

    In a round about answer to the question I think you are asking, blasting low quality links to these is just as effective as doing the same to your main site.. it isn't anymore. That isn't to say that you don't want to build "Tier 2's" to your "Tier 1's", it's saying that your tier 2, 3, 4 etc must be of the same quality and must still be backlinked as well.
