Google keyword planner

Just a quick question.
Since Google change from the keyword tool to the keyword planner, is the search result a broad match or a exact match?
This is very important to me I want to know what I am getting.

    Google keyword planner shows exact match keywords, so now the search is no broad enough as it used be in google's keyword tool.

    Many google changes are happened from the keyword tool to the keyword planner.
    1. We can target citywise in keyword planner but it is not available in keyword tool
    2. Bid estimation is available now
    3. Keyword planner generate detailed statistic about the keyword. This feature is helpful to know more about seasonal keywords to target.

    Its same as earlier but more biased towards Google Adword ads, its ads pricing etc.
    Also, limitation to search only 50 keyword at a time....

    right side on keywords planner there is new option "Exact" and "Broad"

      That changes the stats for the other items they show. It only shows exact search volume though no matter which you select.

        hi i am a newbie however i use keyword planner so wanted to share .

        i was recently doing a video on niche

        this is what i did.

        as i am a newbie not sure whether it is right or wrong.

        i went to to affiliate page and copied all the keywords to the keyword planner tool. (around 91)

        then tool told already plenty ideas keywords already there do u just want the search numbers . i clicked ok and was able to get the top keywords.

        is this research right ????

    Yes, I like this new Keyword planner tools. It's more advance then keyword tools. In here google just shown exact match search volume.

      Yeah I wasn't a huge fan at first, but once I adjusted I started to like it better than the previous keyword tool.
