How can I get credibility for my new SEO Services? I know how to get good rankings but I won't have any proof of websites I've gotten ranked since I'm just starting off. What some suggestions on how to convince businesses that I am the real deal without proof besides simply just telling them?
Thanks Peoples

I am sorry but this doesn't make any sense. You should rank a site and document its progress. Show the charts of the progress. Your offer would be more credible that way.

Plus, considering how GOOGLE IS BANNING sites hard and penalizing negligent linking, you should also reveal to your prospective clients your linking practices. This way, they don't end up learning of your link building practices THE HARD WAY.

You won't have any real credibility until you have actually have a successful portfolio. You might want to get a few websites of your own, either through purchase or creation, and get to work on them.

People love case studies! If you know something will work or should work in theory, put your time or money to the test and prove it. Then you can showcase it and offer your services as they are proven valuable.

Do some SEO work for a few legit nonprofit sites, get backlinks while building a portfolio. The nonprofit will be happy, you'll be happy & future clients will be impressed (assumes you rank the nonprofits).

This makes absolutely no sense. If you knew how to rank sites you'd have some kind of proof. Or you could do what everyone else does and photoshop meaningless ranking charts with everything blurred but the pretty little chart.

Well, only proof will convince your clients what you capable to do
by show them your work in progress:
site on page #1 for the most generic words.

For example, if I would have to do that, I will ask them to Google for:
    free listing
    or
    best free web directory
and look for AMRAY Web Directory on page #1

Anything less that proof will take you nowhere at least of course if you
stumbled on moron with lots of money to burn.
