Google is ignoring half my content

on one of my sites

The content is included in the latest sitemap and is only slightly newer than content google has indexed and displays through it's search. The content has been up for over a month...it's not new.

The pages are optimized thoroughly...maybe too much?

Anyone ever experienced this and whats the quickest way to correct it? I'm cautious of what my efforts may do the part of the site that is performing properly.

Using google webmaster tools, it doesn't return any content regarding these pages with exception to that sub index page. The directory structure is identical for both. If I search using my exact keywords, google does return the pages.

It's weird.

That seems to happen at times. We haven't been able to determine a reasonable explanation. As long as the content is good, it should eventually be indexed.

You could try getting a few relevant inbound links to several of the missing pages. Try getting the links embedded within blog posts, possibly as tag links. These have helped us in the past. Good luck!
