Is this illegal per Adsense policy?

I just read a Warrior thread about cakes and cars, but I didn't quite understand it.

I have a site that deals a lot with trials and legal issues. This site is approved for Adsense and functioning well.

I also built a site for a friend who has a site that deals with legal issues. He doesn't mind; I just don't want to put my Adsense code on his site and get banned for it. Can I use my Adsense codes on the site I built for him, since the content is similar?

Or is this a violation since it's a completely separate domain?

    Make an adzone assigned to that domain, as long as you have permission you should have no problems

      Thanks ufshane. But when you say to make an adzone assigned to that domain, you're saying just make separate ad units for the sister domain, correct?

        Correct the domain that ad zone is for
