Meta Tags of Redirected Page by .Htaccess File

Hello Warriors,

I've redirected my home page to another page of my website using .htaccess file.

But, now I'm little confused about where to add meta tags from seo prospects as it is a static website.

1st time I thought to change the meta tags on the old page, but in case of that what to do with new page? Do I need to keep new page meta tags free? Or I need to add same meta tags which I'll add on old page?

Anyone experienced with it?

Please suggest me what to do...

    Hi at my point of view you about .htaccess file you can use a new meta content and also create that so that point of view you can see old webpage meta content and new webpage meta content both are same so Google that not consider so my point is use a unique content for new webpage..
