Best ways to invest $1000 in long-term traffic?

by Lemey 7 replies

Assume, you have a budget of $1000 and you want to invest it in something that will drive traffic in long-term to you.

Would you buy a good SEO tool for it?
Would you try to buy backlinks for your website?
Would you invest it in Facebook Ads and build up Likes to your fan page of your site?
Would you buy additional content to improve your website?
Would you build a small Android or iOS app for it to drive mobile traffic to your site?

What would you do with it? It does not play a role if you promote a website and app - I'm just seeking inspirations for long-term investments. I'm very curious about your ideas!

Easy, find a reputable website, and ask to guest post on that site. Ensure the site has lots of visitors first. TBH, not really a good ideal to expect long term ish result only on $1,000. Marketing costs are on going forever unless you want to be standing still.

Forget about ADS (like Facebook ads!), they deliver INSTANT, but NOT long term traffic. Just like PPC... Go with SEO, you can easily find some SEO companies that are ready to do good SEO for your website for $1,000

I would suggest either to spend that money paying for sponsored posts on high quality blogs in your niche, or simply hire a white-hat SEO expert. The SEO expert will be doing pretty much the same thing, just a higher quality and charging you more for it.

Depending on your niche, an android or ios app would bring exceptional result. Then again, it all depends on what your niche is.

I'd put $750 into SEO (which includes guest posting, as others have mentioned here) then experiment with the other $250 in banner ads.

For $1000 you could buy a nice set of banner ads from related sites to generate traffic. And if the ads were plain image links (not javascript or nofollow), that would also help your SEO.
