Yes it is possible You need to work on your keyword research and SEO and Back linking to your site . But it is possible I will be having my link on this forum soon to where you can learn how to Blog and SEO but if you want for now visit Fiverr their is people that can help you out cheap

But aren't the backlinks they give you going to be unrelated and spammy? that's my worry

You can get on first page without any backlinks, it's been done.

I just had a look at your competitors and it will be a tough task but you can still get your site on first page of Google. Just do proper link building... If you can get some high PR or Good Quality Links from sites relevant to yours then the chance of ranking higher will increase.

That is the tricky part... don't promote your website directly instead make it more natural. Links should be more natural for it to get approved.

You can go for some good service too wherein people do it for some nominal charge

I assume since your name is "saxguru" you are actually quite knowledgeable about the saxophone? If so head on over to Google and type "Saxophone Blog" and go through the results picking out a list of blogs that might be willing to let you guest post a high quality well written article.

From what I see your website seems mostly to be for paid content (Didn't look very thoroughly so sorry if I am wrong). If you offer a section of free GOOD content, you could contact all sites saxophone related and request a link. Most websites are happy to link to other websites if they offer good free content.

But please, what ever you do, do not buy links from fiverr.

It is possible to rank your website in google 1st page, for this first your set your targeted market and research keywords according to your targeted location and optimize the website by adding meta tags, alt tags, content. You will also created a landing page according to your keywords and promote keywords from their landing page.

Submit site in google webmaster tools, set targeted location ( by doing this google gives your more weight-edge to that location), add XML Sitemap etc.

I recommend you do some link sharing and guest blog posts. That will bring in some organic traffic and hopefully you'll get some subscribers from there.

First work on your On-Page SEO (H1 tags, title and description tags, alt for images and title for links...) Also work on your Off-Page SEO (High quality and HIGH PR backlinks if possible -> Guest blogging, Social bookmarking, article marketing, etc.)

As i'm seeing ON page seo of this website is not reaching the standards, that's why you are facing problems regarding website. Do ON page seo with the help of Yoast SEO plugin, you can't get better than this one. Then move on to off page seo.

Yes it can be, but first you need to do keyword analysis for your site. Then do some quality work on your site or on other sites to get quality backlinks.

You can get you site on first Page of serp.. some backlinks from related sites... high authority sites... add site to local business listing including google and yahoo.... ask your friends to give positive rating on Google Listing...Make some Backlinks to Google Business listing..add website to Facebook Page for Local Business... Join Bloggers commuinity like Blogdash..
