Hey Guys, i know there was an update on 20th of December, and was just wondering if anybody has any good reasons for this? Do you know what they changed?

Checked one of my adsense sites and saw this.

I'm rather puzzled as i never did anything untoward with this website.

Anyone have any theories?

I have not heard about any new updates. May be due to holidays it would happen. You need to wait and analysis it with next 15 days traffic report.

There are hunderds of updates going on yearly on Google. This can be Panda, Penguin whatever. Without taking a deeper look into your site, it's almost impossible to tell what happened.

Can we get a SERPBook report or something along those lines to look at?

That graph image in OP is from a single day, look at the big picture, is traffic still down? Did you lose links, did SERP comp. increase, are pages still indexed, etc...?

No this is a monthly graph, each of those dots is a day. So over the course of that grapgh, i was getting 50-75 hits a day, until 20th december, where it falls, and leaves me with only 1-4 hits per day.

Lost impressions and clicks in webmaster tools which shows that i have lost rankings.

Checked backlinks, and looks like someone has attacked me with negative SEO, as you can see from september i got a massive load of backlinks. What a bummer.

Does anyone have any tutorials about Disavow tool? Never had to use it before...

The screenshot in OP is a daily graph, the Day button (top/right) is On.

I dont think you are doing a proper analysis, there are several things on your graphs:

    a) It seem range you are showing us on Analytics are 31 days and exactly on one day your traffic seems to disspaeared, nevertheless at the end of the graph it seems to recover, were you offline in those days? did you made changes to your pages? (something like changing the tags to no index ?)

    b) The next image you show is is Google Webmaster tools, and it shows a decrease in impresions and clicks, but the sample is so small and the traffic so little that I am not sure if this was a trend that was already comming or not, which would mean that some backlink you bought or some affiliate pushing your product decided to remove his backlinks, I dont know.

    c) The third image you show us is from ahref,, but you are showing a year period, and it is showing an increase on your backlinks, that may be that you created the links before, but they were justindexed on those days, or that the segment of the nest ahref crawls show those links, but nothing makes me suspect of negative SEO, specially with such a small traffic and such an random pieces of information.

To me it seems to be that you were spamming come backlinks (Fiver or comments) that gave you a small push, Google got you and "put you in your place" nothing to see with other things
