How To Increase 4-5,000 Backlinks Through Article Marketing?

Hi guys! I'm looking for your expert advise to increase backlinks to my domain through article marketing. We all know that submitting articles to hundreds of directories will increase number of backlinks, however in the recent times, I noticed that Google is not indexing all of my articles and therefore, backlinks are not increasing.

What I wish to have that when I type my domain in the search, say "mydomain.com" with quotes, I should see around 4-5,000 number of backlinks!

What strategies would you recommend to increase backlinks exponentially through article marketing to achieve 4 to 5,000 backlinks? How many articles and how many sites I do need to submit to achieve this figure? Can someone share his or her experience here please? Thank you.

Not sure of your specific question as I am not an expert in AM. However google is known for not showing all the BL.

It keeps us all guessing. I heard the yahoo is a true indication of your backlinks.

The best formula would be to submit unique articles to each of the article directories. This will ensure you will get more number of backlinks...

Use Yahoo Site Explorer to check your backlinks. It may not show all of them, but it will show a lot more than Google.

I second Unique Article Wizard. I've only been using it for about a month now, and I've been lacking on submitting new articles, but every time I do submit an article, it goes to anywhere between 500-1,000 sites, getting backlinks from almost every site.

@Anees -- I'm new to this site, so apologize for just seeing this. I'm not sure how I heard about Unique Article Wizard, but I think I was convinced to purchase it after reading Courtney Tuttle's web site.

UAW itself is actually a bit costly, in my opinion. I think I pay somewhere around $69/month for the service. I also submit articles to the different directories and using the free version of Article Submitter.

Registration is quick, and you can submit articles right away. It generally takes about a day for the articles to be approved and submitted, however. UAW asks for three articles, so one original and two spinned.

I use UAW for the simplicity. Not all the links are great and some topics I've found don't get accepted to all the article sites UAW says it has for that topic. After I submit an article, I use a free tool like seopro.com.au/free-seo-tools/link-checker/ to find out the PR/anchor text/dofollow/nofollow status of the sites that accepted the article to find out how successful it was. If you do try UAW, I'd suggest keeping an eye on the links using that tool or something like siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com to gauge whether it's worth your money.

Using constant backlinking + bookmarking backlinks has proven far more effective for me than using articles to get backlinks (I used to hammer Article Post Robot with negligible effect - guess ya gotta try everything!).

Backlinking rocks - when done properly.

Karrak, did your search engine rankings increase after using UAW? Did you notice an increase in your website's rankings and after submitting how many articles did you see the difference?

I have two things in mind,

      firstly:
May be the way you are submiting the articles to directory fall in the spam category.

      Secondly:
Duplicate conent, if you are submiting same article to too many directories then it means the content is duplicate. Google rejects most of the links from those article directories which are working on autopilot.

Well, Yes there are cases same as this, So, to overcome this, what I do is, I just bookmark the published article links via socialbookmarks(digg/delicious/stumbleupon and etc..), I used to give some atrractive summary when I do bookmark, So, I am getting direct readers to my article as well as, google to visit my articles ASAP....then It indexes it an get that backlink....

Well, to take this, you have to work hard for at least 30-45 days, If you can get all these on manual that is great, however, If you have planned to use automated, then, make sure at least 50% of the links are from manual submissions....

If you have planned to use only Article submissions, then you have to have about 100 articles and you have to make sure that, one article is submitted to only 10-15 directories, not more than that..... If you use a same article for all 100 directories, there will be nothing..... So, you have to care of it. However, What I would like to suggest is, it is better if you can do the followings (the combination is better than a single one, is it? :p)

      @anwar001:

Yes, my search rankings did increase, and by quite a bit. I use the free version of "Rank Checker" by Aaron Wall/SEOBook to check rankings daily. I'm targeting one keyword that's overly competitive and didn't rank at all for it in the beginning of the month and after 3 articles am now ranking #15. I know that I'll have to do link building and submit more articles for that site and keyword, but I'm happy to see that it's moved up so much.

I'm also tracking a longer tail keyword that gets 15,300 searches a month and is somewhat competitive -- started submitting articles daily (so far 10 articles) last week and now rank #7 for that keyword, without link building elsewhere. So I'm pretty happy with the results so far.

After paying for UAW now for about 5 months, I've found that you have to list competitive/highly traffic categories (you list up to 15 categories/keywords and your article is submitted to sites that fall within those categories) in order to get your article on the most sites. I now get accepted to 1500-1600 article sites per article, whereas before, I was only getting listed on 500-1000. So it does take a bit of legwork in that sense.

Nice to know that UAW is working. After reading your comments, I too might jump into the water after all. By the way, can you tell me how many links can we have in each article that we submit to UAW? This is important to me. And how much time does it usually take to see results in terms of search rankings increase after using UAW. Hope you will help me out.

I am also researching on another related but slightly inexpensive submission service called as "article drip robot".

I think actuall results speaks volumes rather than aiming for a certain amount of backlinks. I have heard good things about UAW although I haven't tried that one myself.

I do have a software variation to UAW called Article Post Robot. The concept is very good although I haven't used it for a LONG time. You can basically spin an article to a high level in PAR or Article spinner and then paste the project into APR. You can set the software to spin your titles, resource box and article body as it submits to each directory. You can set the time delay between each submission and it automaticallly submits, tracks and reports all your submissions. There is a huge list of article sites included and you can add your own to the system. I might give this a whirl again sometime although someone in this thread did say it didn't help them.

On another note, Angelas backlinks have worked very well for me. $5 per month and within a week I hit high on the 1st page for my main target keywords. Yes, I wasn't ranking badly before that but those links do work well. Couple them in with other varied methods and you have a winning combination.

Also, forum signature DO work. I proved this in my blog with an experiment showing screenshots.

    - Daniel, going to send a pm over to see if you'd like to review my forthcoming link building system. Notice you do that in your signature.

P.s. One final thing. If you bring blog commenting into the equation, fast blog poster is great. You can download a free version to try it out. That alone has increased my rankings.

@anwar001: I wasn't able to PM you back.

UAW works similar to Ezine Articles, except articles are distributed to a variety of blogs and sites. I don't usually put any links in the body of the article, just the resource/author box. I can usually fit two links into the resource box, but I think the limit is 500 characters, so it really depends on your keyword & site name length.
