Moving posts to another site - SEO impact?

I am in a partnership with another site where I want my ebook to be sold there, instead of my site. I want this other site to get all the SEO benefits that my site has gotten from the content I have written in my posts.

If I have him put up the content on his site, and take my site down (I don't plan on working further on this project and just want to take passive income % from his site). Will there be SEO issues because the site was on my site first?

I know duplicate content has been talked about a lot, but I wasn't sure if taking down the original publisher made it a different story.

It would be better to leave your old site alone & point a backlink or two from relevant pages at the other guys site/pages. Piggyback off your old sites existing authority to boost new pages on the other guys domain/pages.

Put new content on the other guys site.
