    I don't know why you would just limit yourself to one keyword. I think you would find it quite difficult to get anywhere with just one keyword. Personally, I would use a minimum of three, after all most people use phrases when they search on the Internet, not just one word.

    But, you will have to optimize your site for more than just one keyword in order to rank first page for you money keyword.

    Its like to chew iron gram by your teeth. But yes you can rank after hard work or create quality backlink from high PR sites related to your niche but dont know how much time it will take to rank your single keyword on top 5 position on SERP.
