    3 Possible ways to find:

First page or two of google, bing or yahoo - these usually have higher natural search traffic

Pinterest - type your keyword + pinterest and check first page of listings for how many followers they have. If they are smart, they are sending people over to their site.

Go to Facebook and type in your keyword and look at all the pages listed with that keyword. look at those with most likes. If they are smart, they are sending people over to their site. So look at the site they are sending people to and that may give you some additional high traffic sites.

I'd also suggest Google's AdSense planner, that way you can also advertise on those sites via the display network.

I wold recommend scrapebox as a solution, scrape a rather large list of websites with keywords related to your subject.

Run that harvested list and check Alexa/pagerank and any other parameters you may want. You could even check the sites on-page info for keywords like "mommy" "mom" etc. further trimming your list to the domains you really want.

    That's how I'd harvest a list.

Usually if you find one of those "mommy" sites, they have like top 10 lists of other mommy blogs, and these are all usually pretty high trafficked sites.

The mommy blogs are like a cult group that rape it with regards to SERPs and PR all interlinking to each other lol.

You can go to pinterest and search any niche specially recipes, DIY, home decor
then go to boards tab, open few of top boards, these boards actually have lot of followers, open their owners profile, most of the time these are MOMs profiles and they have website verified which is mentioned in their profile page, you can find some high traffic MOMs blogs or sites this way
