Hey Warriors,

I've finally found some direction thanks to you guys and gals.

I want to provide SEO services here and outside. How do I go about it and more importantly what 2014 software should I buy to provide that quality page 1 Google ranking. Your help is greatly appreciated.

First of all, you don't need any special software. Even if you start scaling, you can do most of your SEO work without software.

Second, you need a business model and marketing system.

Knowing what you want to sell -- SEO -- is great. It's a starting point. But I'm afraid you came to that conclusion for the wrong reason.

Did you do market research first?

Can you explain why you want to do SEO? If you can't explain yourself enough to justify your decision to, say, a handful of investors, then you need to rethink.

Don't hesitate to shoot me some Q's. I was at where you were once.

Thanks Verial for some great advice.

I've tried so many aspects of IM but found delivering a service much more fun. I've done well on fiverr and now want to expand.

I find SEO is interesting and enjoy doing the research. I just need someone to help me launch a quality service. I know that scapebox, GSA and other software may be required to provide high quality services.

You know wrong. You are off to a very poor start if you really want to offer quality. You are not paying attention at all to algo changes of the last two years. the days of clicking buttons and calling yourself a good seo service are fading super fast. Once Google turns up the algo to hit even more of tiered link building (they started that process last year)it will be perfectly clear GSA is a piece of spamming junk.

Ok, but this work model needs much more time.

I use and recommend to work for SEO:

      1. Scrapebox
      2. Gatherproxy
      3. Zennoposter
      4. Zebroid
      5. Screaming frog

This is basic package for newbie.

He's obviously looking to blast junk links or he wouldn't have said this (below), even If it doesn't make sense, GSA + quality services in the same sentence.

Newbie with those scrapers and link posting tools - that's scary. Even worse if it's for a client (or perhaps victim would be the right word).

Screaming Frog belongs in the basic toolkit, but it doesn't really do anything unless you know what to look for.

This is how people get screwed when they buy SEO.

You say quality & try to associate GSA like it's doing something good.

The direction you've found is fiverr.

By SEO sites you mean fiverr, BH forums, blogs that target newbie IMers.

That has nothing to do with quality SEO.

OP is just as confused considering he tried to associate quality with junk.

I am always amazed by this mentality.

That people actually think google says

"Well now...these are crappy links but they were drip fed over a long period of time so that makes them less crappy

      and

"oh yes its all junk but guess what its diverse junk and we like that"

      boggles the mind

The best anyone can do is hope it's competition. Saving the world doesn't work, they don't want to be saved when they have $5 burning a hole in their pocket.

Purchase a time machine, and take yourself 2-5 years back in time (depending if you are a fast or slow learner). Learn basic HTML, start to build sites, move to on-page SEO, publish the sites, and start watching how they behave in SERPs. When 2014 comes around you're ready to start offering SEO services.

I guess the Fiverr approach works too.

I don't even know what SEO stands for, but pay me and I'll do it for ya. Welcome to the warriorforum, it's too early for this sh*t man.

edit: Sorry for the rant but this type of stuff really gets on my nerves and people like the OP ruin the marketplace by screwing over well meaning businesses. And someone had the nerve to say he should start with market research. You can't just go from point A to point D. Makes no sense.

    Yukon & Mike:

    Why do you even bother...

We all know that the best WF strategy for all kind of SEO is:

GSA, SCRAPEBOX, FIVERR, SPINNER, PYRAMIDS, LINKWHEELS, ARTICLE DIRECTORIES, COMMENT SPAM, (PUBLIC) PRIVATE NETWORKS = 2014 HQ SEO SERVICE.

and oh, for on-page SEO, just use keyword stuffing. 14% keyword density should be enough.

Just $49 per package = watch your SERP increase

Invest in a good analyzing software like a subscription with Moz, their keyword analysing tool is pretty solid.

Also get a membership at Ahrefs at the very least and Spyglass probably also won't hurt to have in your portfolio.

You can then reverse engineer the back link profiles of your competitors and attempt to get the same links.

Forget about software that build links.

There area lot of formulas to success when it comes to SEO. And you have to remember that what works for others may or may not work for you. And that is why you need to take risks, experiment BUT you do all these with proper knowledge and update yourself with the ever evolving SEO techniques.

What others mostly said here, you need to focus on your on-page efforts and it is still useful to have that software or tool to provide you with good SEO analysis.

As for your off-page, focus more on quality linkbuilding. DO NOT SPAM. As much as possible, try to combine automated tools with manual linkbuilding. By using automated tools, I mean use this with caution and discipline. Auto tools still helps but like I previously said, do not build spammy links. Good luck!
