In terms of anchor text backlinking, has there been any validated research as to whether there is any impact in the passing of "link juice" when the link is input as a javascript popup window?


I know in some instances google can have trouble with Javascript at times but haven't come across this scenario until now.

    I know Google provide java script for your site in webmaster tools that genreates a link to a random page in your site and a google search bar..

    I guess if you could replicate it, then you will in some way get a backlink if it were possilbe to get the pop-up indexed.
