Switching from All In One SEO to YOAST

Hi guys,

I currently have All In One SEO but want to switch to YOAST - is this a good idea, and if so, should I delete All In One SEO or will that hurt my current rankings? Would it cause problems to leave All In One active and install YOAST?

    Here is the thing, the main function of all these plugins is the same, its just that some offer a little extra stuff and what not.

    I did the switch more than a year ago and I never looked back. I think for me the best thing was that Yoast SEO replaced a few other plugins as well (helping to speed up the site a little).

    You don't have to worry about losing ranking because you can simply import the SEO data from All in One to Yoast. Then check a few pots/pages to make sure things are ok, then delete All in One.

    I wouldn't keep both of them, they may conflict each other or cause some other issue.

      No, you don't want to run both at the same time. It will slow down your site, and they will just conflict with each other. Pick one and delete the other.
