Hosting company hosting spammy sites pointing to me. Impossible to reach them.

Hi guys,

I have found more than 20 links pointing to my site coming from spammy/hacked looking sites that doesn't respond to link removal requests.

They are all owned by the same person and being hosted in the same hosting company. I tried to reach them by email and facebook to ask for help (may be they have an abuse policy or something) without response. Moreover, they blocked my messages to their facebook page even though I am being pretty polite.

What can I do? Do I have any legal right over this?

Have you tried offering them money to remove the links? They probably get lots of requests like this with threats of legal action and Google Disavow curses.

Maybe you, or someone working on your behalf, made the links in the first place?

Actually the sites linking to me are porn sites, detox sites, rehab sites, etc so I am pretty sure that neither me or anyone on my team created them. It seems like an action of negative SEO and the sites even look hacked (they share the same category structure in the sidebar, with stuffed spammy keywords).

I didn't think about paying for link removal, I'm not even sure if the whois email is fake or not...

The best option seems to be asking the hosting company to take any action. Is that possible? Do I have any option to do so?
