hi guys,

I would like to know what do you believe to be a good PPC network to sell Services (Social Media, Music Marketing, Content writing).

I had took a look at Adwords, but for the music marketing niche the bids are extremely high to be on page 1, about $2-$3 per click.

Well since the average conversion rate accordingly with google should between 2-3% the price tag of the service will not be suitable to be in a profit.

I did not checked the remaining services, since i was a bit scared with the results...

So i was wondering, if i cant be on the big G... what do you believe that will suit better to my niche.

- Bing
- Facebook ads
- 7search (2nd tier ppc network)

or any other?

thanks,
Morg

    Hi Morg,

Generally speaking, the higher the Bids on AdWords, the more valuable the traffic is from that network. So don't be intimidated by the estimated bids. If you do things right you can often buy clicks for much less than the average CPC.

Also, consider that the folks that are paying $3.00 per click are very likely making more than that per click, else they wouldn't bid that high, right?

Other networks to consider would be Bing, and perhaps Facebook. Also, consider advertising your services on the Warriors for Hire section of this forum.

Why can't you be in profit when you offer music marketing?

100 clicks would cost you $250,-

you say you convert at 2-3% so that means you get 2-3 clients that each pay $xxx/month for several months.

Seems profitable to me, just scrap the content writing services and/or keywords related to that.

Well our biggest monthly packages are rated at 49.95 per month , then we need to deduct operational costs that should be near 35% , so we'll need to have it recurring for 3 months until start to have profit, but the issue is regarding with risk management... But maybe you are right. Or else we may be forced to increase the price tag so we can be more confortable with google advertisement.

Doing a CPA campaign (or like our network PPC+CPA Hybrid) will be your best initial ROI on advertising, also an affiliate program may be the way to go. You basically need to decide of your initial $49.95 how much you would pay for a conversion... $10 is just over 20% which is not a bad cpa payment, $15 is a little over 30% which is a good affiliate payout.

Build up your affiliate program and offer bonuses, and your affiliates will do the promotions for you and you only have to pay when you sell, which is the ultimate goal.

Find webmaster forums for music genre and facebook groups for music marketers and advertise your services there, buy banner ads on sites with a low cpm or cpc cost so you are getting targeted traffic for your product.

Basically you want to target your niche as best that you can to bring in conversions.

Well i have thinked a lot about afilliate markeing but the issue is about choosing a good and reliable affiliate network dedicated to the music niche.

I had took a look at jvzoo but its more for the IM niches.

I was thinkin in offering something like:

            1st month: 50% , then every recurring month 25%.

Probably i will need to increase the price tag since we are using this pricing model for direct selling without any advertising.

You have to test the different networks and find the one that gives you the best ROI. Our network has a prevailing bid of $0.13 per click for your niche. You might also look at Facebook ads, they do very well.
