Confusing Alexa Rank

Hi Warriors
I come across two websites one is spiritualriver and another one is my friends one(I cant tell the name). First one is launched 5years ago. its has alexarank of 300000something. It has lot of contents updating daily.!! Second domainname is purchased a month ago. He started filling up with contents within a month its 200000something Rank. Whyits happening like this?

    Alexa Rank is depend upto your website traffic i.e. how many visitors comes to your website, how much time they are staying, how many from them are unique and many more factors. So, try to drive traffic to your website.

    Alexa rank presents inacurate data, If a visitor has installed alexa toolbar in the browser and visiting your website then your website alexa rank will decline. But if a visitor coming to your website without alexa toolbar then it won't affect your website alexa rank.

    I hope you would have understand how alexa determines the alexa rank for any website.
