Cost of quality seo ...?

Does it make sense that top seo could run somewhere around 1,000 for the first month?

One seo company i found looks quality - they have references to back it up, the first month starts with a few hundred dollar set up fee to basically optimize the site and everything on it, then its around 295 a month for around 25 keywords, etc...

Does that sound normal?

From experience it seems low budget seo doesn't really cut it, even if they follow guidelines it seems to get a seo company that will provide quality backlinks and whatever else it costs some money. This company im talking about has a guarantee as well and a reputation to back it up so I don't think it's a scam at all, may take a bit to gather up the money tho - but I guess you get what you put into it.

    The cost of "quality" SEO is going to vary from company to company, and also depend on the niche you are in.

    SEO can range anywhere from a few hundred a month to tens of thousands each month. Really depends on who you go to and what you are looking for. Sort of like asking "How
    long is a piece of string?".


    $295 for 25 keywords sounds low though. I mean that's a budget of only ~$12 per keyword a month.


    Also ironically companies that offer "guarantees" tend to be the worse ones. Most legit companies don't offer guarantees as they understand the volatility of Google and also have enough of a customer base and demand to not need them.

    Weird how that works really.

    Hear that. I didn't think that about guarantees. This site is more a refund policy than a guarantee I guess, as in after a few months you can request to refund your money.

    It seems tricky finding seo companies, they seem to have different sets of tricks. I guess it doesn't hurt to look around. I like this company I found though but the set up fee seems a bit expensive, I guess there are optiond to look around more anyway.

    Seomoz also has a list of seo companies, could be some of those are legit as well.

    I know SEO companies that take $xx/mo, and I know ones that take $xxxx/mo. For the latter you get a team from one of the best agencies in this country led by an industry veteran. They price and market it for the medium-size and large companies.

    So the price definitely doesn't sound that high to me, but it depends on the actual product.

    Cost of SEO is depend upon the Industry. Like if you are in Travel then it will cost you more. Industry competition depend what SEO is actually costing you. May be you have to share you industry, then we will predict the amount.

    SEO is not a 1 module, it is a complete set of marketing modules which includes many things like core SEO, SMO, particular content marketing etc. It also depends on for how much of time you are continuing your campaign. General rates starts from$200-300 per 1 month. this can be increase if you go with well known SEO agency.

    SEO is not only one thing it have many strategies as you know.If you are looking for an experienced company then it will highly cost you. as you mentioned the price of your suggested company i think its very low go ahead and enjoy.
