This is according to host gator. This site is kinda crappy so how is this possible? It ranks for nothing. Are all these visits from spam bots? must be. I just found this number odd.

It may just be traffic from Chinese bots looking for holes. What unique visitor numbers do you get from Google Webmaster Tools or statcounter.com?

If you want to get lots of free traffic from Chinese bots, pepper you blog posts with keywords like: patent, blueprints, plans, business plans, secret formula, copyright, japanese design, iphone development, iphone software and so on

Gosh, every time someone's mentions some country he is automatically a racist.

Probably spam bots yes, did you have comments open for quite some time? Could be that your part of some lists that are getting shared on the web. I had that once as well with some site, 40.000+ pending comments lol.

I wouldn't get too excited, I have the same thing happening with a couple of websites that aren't particularly important. Your best bet is to install Google tracking and use Google analytics to see who has been visiting your website. If you're getting hardly any action from search engines then you know that it's just rubbish traffic that you're getting.
