Should I Submit Articles To Article Directories? ... This Is What Google Says About It..

Seems to me that google are going to be clamping down even harder..

    I would say syndication is key to getting traffic and interaction with your site.

    What I would do differently though is only syndicate to high quality article directories. That way Google will see the backlinks are coming from relevant, high pr directories.

    press releases (paid)
    image links
    video links
    social signals
    guest posts

    that cracks me up. Am I watching the same video as you guys. He recommended not to he did not say don't do it. He said why "spammy articles". He's saying in a stupid round about way if you cant put good content out there it won't be passed around and algorithms will ditch it.

    IMHO write good long content, dont keyword stuff, and make sure its something that will go viral and you may just well find its just as effective as it always was.

    I can't stand how insulting to people google video's tend to be. Gee wiz you're all of bunch of spammers anyway don't do it you certainly won't get any leverage from it.

    Article Directories are filled with crap you should know that if you use them for your backlinks or traffic. All this update is trying to do is make it so that all that crap gets removed or lower in the searches.

    If your posting quality information and using keywords correctly then you shouldn't have a problem. Why would Google want to punish that people that are the ones who actually make Article Directories work.

    Remember that these directories are supposed to be an organized digital article catalog to help people find answers to the questions they seek ... not full of CRAP

    What I'm now doing with my articles is creating high quality sites using Wordpress, Bloggers, and others. I drip content on my own sites - that I control - build up the authority, and then use those to link to my relevant money sites.

    Game changed a little - but in the end, high quality content is and will always be king.

        Yeah, and you won't, unless you've done extensive tests for the past three years, or unless you'd be doing your own tests in your own niches, because this would expose specific target niches, markets and keywords for the world (and competitors) to see...

          Article directories were formed to provide useful articles by different writers.Originally they were not used for gaining backlinks,their main aspect was to provide quality articles .

          Then came age of SEO Gurus ,they preached use of backlinks and earned much money by promoting this method .

          Now most article directories are only used for spamming and full of crap.

          The theme is only if we can provide good articles ,visitors will definitely visit your website .BUt in heap of this crap ,good articles are lost somewhere

    Use well written articles to promote inner pages on your site and build your list but don't blast the article to useless sites that no one reads. Stick to the top five article directories maybe even less. You should not be doing "one thing" for your promotions but lots of little things.
