My analytics is showing visitors to my site (mywebsiteexample.com) from mywebsiteexample.com./

I'm seeing this daily.

With the period at the end. What is this? I've never seen this before.

Anybody know?

      Sorry, haven't used that tool enough to really know what could be the problem. URL with a dot at the end seems to work in my browsers, but I can't remember what the spec says. Redirection and/or weirdly formatted link somewhere seem like a possible explanation.
